Lee-On-The-Solent Beach

Lee-On-The-Solent (or Lee-On-Solent as it is often called) is a lovely little seaside town near Gosport. The shingle beach is a popular destination for a variety of activities and a top mark for sea fishing in the area.

Lee-On-The-Solent beach has a gradual slope down to the water and offers beach fishing without the strong tidal currents that many other nearby marks suffer from. Weed can be an issue, so sometimes it pays to cast out a little further to avoid the large amounts that can get trapped by the groynes.
